LUNCH TIME ACTIVITIES
WEDNESDAY 09 SEPTEMBER 2026
As part of this year's conference, we will be offering informal Special Interest Group (SIG) networking during the Wednesday lunch break (1:00 pm – 1:40 pm). This is a drop-in opportunity for attendees to connect, share ideas, and join the conversation with colleagues who share similar professional interests.
A designated space within the main conference area will be set aside for each SIG, with banners to help you find your group of interest. Simply grab your lunch, drop in, and join the informal discussion.
Whether you're already involved in a SIG or would like to learn more, we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to connect with fellow research management professionals and expand your network.

Collective Excellence: Administrative Empowerment through Unity
Join Professor Jason White, Director Research Services at Charles Sturt University, in exploring opportunities to unify processes and workflows across the entire research management technology ecosystem.
Knowledge and learnings shared across our sector enable process standardisation that benefits the collective, rather than the individual. Working together, we can establish and refine best practices that support the people who support the sector: our administrators.
With over thirty years of experience in research, Jason has participated in significant collaborative research endeavours, held key leadership roles for industry bodies and not-for-profit organisations, and served on grant review and ethics committees.
Brought to you by Ada, coming soon with ResearchMaster Enterprise 8.
Date: Thursday, 10 September
Time: 12:45–13:05
Room: Level 2, Riverside Theatre
