Adubi Plange is a Research Project Officer at the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health at the University of Sydney, where she supports the coordination and delivery of research initiatives focused on social and emotional wellbeing in chronic care. She also works as a Research Assistant on a UNFPA-funded project within the Faculty of Medicine and Health, examining postpartum contraception across the Pacific. Raised in Fiji, and now living on Bidjigal land, she brings a people-centred and outcomes-driven approach to her work and research. Bringing her experience in project management from the ANU Institute of Climate, Energy and Disaster, and the National Centre for Cultural Competence, she is committed to advancing equitable, inclusive and culturally responsive research practices.

Alexandra Soudlenkova is a Senior Research Programme Coordinator at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland. With more than six years in university research management, she supports researchers across the funding lifecycle, with particular depth in post-award management of complex portfolios funded by the Marsden Fund, MBIE, the Health Research Council, Horizon Europe and other schemes. Known for careful financial stewardship and calm problem-solving, she has recently focused on reducing administrative waste in research support and on designing advisory AI tools that help staff check policy alignment before decisions are made. Her ARMS 2026 poster shares what she learned building these tools as a research manager without a technical background.

A neuroscientist by training, Bridgette brings almost 20 years’ experience in health and medical research, research translation, strategic planning and major research initiatives. She has worked extensively at the intersection of academia, industry and professional practice, supporting researchers and institutions to develop partnerships, secure competitive funding and deliver impactful programs. Bridgette has supported successful funding bids across major Australian research programs, including NHMRC, MRFF and Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) programs. She has trained in project management and holds a PhD and BBiomedSc (Hons) from Monash University.

Carolyn is skilled at bringing people together, making complex work easier to navigate, and supporting teams to stay focused and aligned.
