Pack a picnic for Kings Park

Kings Park is one of the world’s largest inner-city parks with over 400 hectares of protected bushland and 3000 species of native flora and fauna. After a stroll through the Botanical Gardens, enjoy a pre-packed picnic or grab a bite to eat at one of few cafes across the Swan River, the city skyline and the Darling Ranges.

Swan Valley is the oldest wine region in Western Australia, with over 40 world-class wineries and numerous breweries, cideries, distilleries and restaurants. Perth locals commonly sip and sample their way through different cellar doors in the region, which you can either self-drive or better yet attend an organised tour so you can indulge in the products yourself.

One of the best perks about living in Perth is its stunning coastline with crystal clear water and gleaming white sand.
